Raoul Moat is an 8 track concept EP by Nottingham rapper Vandal Savage and debutant producer Claude Money. Developed over the course of a year, Raoul Moat explores feelings of desperation, marginalisation and non-conformism in modern society. A reclusive and isolated individual, Vandal Savage touches on his own experiences of mainstream culture manufacturing folk devils and narratives to disparage those who’d break away from the norm.
On this emotionally insightful EP, Vandal displays his best lyricism to date as he details the peaks and troughs of trying to carve an artistic life for himself whilst haunted by past mistakes and constant reminders of a life he’s trying to leave behind.
